RMA Terms

  • All products carry minimum a 30 days warranty.
  • Batteries are covered by DOA warranty.
  • Some products do carry an extended warranty this will appear on your invoice.
 

Warranty

At Tier1Asset, we offer you, as a consumer, special warranties that supplement the rights you have under consumer law, including the statutory warranty and right of withdrawal. These statutory rights can still be claimed against the business from which you purchased your IT equipment (computer, etc.), regardless of our warranties.

At Tier1Asset, we offer the following special warranties to consumers:

  1. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee:
    Tier1Asset wants you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. Therefore, we offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the device, you can return it within 14 days of the purchase date and get your money back, even after using it.

  2. 2-Year Warranty on Hardware (excluding batteries):
    All hardware components, except for batteries (see below), are covered by a two-year warranty. This means that if any defects or issues arise with the hardware within two years of the purchase date, Tier1Asset will repair or replace the hardware at no additional cost to you.

  3. 6-Month Warranty on Batteries:
    If your purchased product includes a battery, it is covered by a six-month warranty. During this period, we guarantee that the battery will have a capacity corresponding to the original capacity as specified in the manufacturer’s capacity descriptions, with a reduction according to Tier1Asset’s grading system:

    a) Rezertif1ed Plus: 90% battery capacity of the original measured in mAh.
    b) Rezertif1ed: Minimum 80% battery capacity of the original measured in mAh.
    c) T1A: Minimum 70% battery capacity of the original measured in mAh.
    d) Barga1n Plus: Minimum 60% battery capacity of the original measured in mAh.
    e) Barga1n: Minimum 50% battery capacity of the original measured in mAh.

Exclusion from warranty
  • The product has been found to be defective after expiry of the warranty period.
  • Warranty has been voided by removal or alternation of product or part identification labels.
  • The product has been misused, abused, or subjected to unauthorized disassembly/modification; placed in an unsuitable physical or operating environment; improperly maintained by the customer; or failure caused which Tier1 Asset A/S is not responsible whether by accident or other cause. Tier1 Asset will determine such conditions at its sole unfettered discretion.
  • The product is damaged beyond repair due to a natural disaster such as a lighting strike, flood, earthquake, etc.
 
RMA Guidelines
  • Read the warranty policy carefully
  • Fill out RMA
  • We will reply within 48 hours with a RMA reference number
  • Please attach the reference number to the unit(s) & return the unit(s) to the following address:

  • Unit has to be received before expiry of warranty period
  • RMA numbers will be valid for 30 days of issue
 
Warranty policy
  • RMA approvals are dependent on meeting Tier1 Asset guidelines and manufacture warranty where applicable.
  • All warranty is carry in service (RTB).
  • All returns must be accompanied by an RMA form with a valid RMA number issued by Tier1 Asset. No returned material will be accepted without a valid RMA.
  • RMA numbers issued by Tier1 Asset are valid for 30 days. Items must be received at our facility within that time.
  • Please give a detailed description of the problem when requesting RMA authorization. Any items returned without explanation and having no obvious defect may be subject to service charges.
  • Any items returned to us which are found to have no defect will be subject to service charges and returned to you with freight charges due.
  • All returned items must be packed carefully to avoid damage during transit. If possible, please use the original packaging. Any items received damaged in transit will not be covered under warranty.
  • We will repair, replace or issue a refund for defective items which are under warranty, at our sole discretion.
  • Due to GDPR regulations, Tier1 Asset removes any traces of data during the process of RMA. Please perform back up before shipping item.
  • Repair turnaround time is within 8 days
  • Tier1Asset will return the unit at free of charge within EU countries. Customer outside EU will cover shipping costs.
 
DOA (Dead On Arrival)
  • DOA is considered when product does not work on arrival.
  • DOA is considered only when claim is received within 10 days from invoice. All DOA returns must have original box, all accessories material returned with product. DOA products will receive a replacement. Physical damage will void DOA and warranty.
  • Tier1Asset will return the unit at free of charge within EU countries. Customer outside EU will cover shipping costs.
Service charge
  • Tier1 Asset will charge € 160 for repairing products if:
  • The product is repaired after the expiry of the warranty period.
  • The product is tested or calibrated after the expiry of the warranty period, and a No Problem Found (NPF) result is obtained.
  • The product, though repaired within the warranty period, has been misused, abused, or subjected to unauthorized disassembly/modification; placed in an unsuitable physical or operating environment; improperly maintained by the customer; or failure caused which Tier1 Asset is not responsible whether by accident or other cause. Such conditions will be determined by Tier1 Asset at its sole unfettered discretion.
  • The product is damaged beyond repair due to a natural disaster such as a lighting strike, flood, earthquake, etc.
 
Returning policy for credit note
  • Please contact your sales representative at Tier1 Asset for approval
  • RMA numbers are good for 7 days only, after which the RMA will not be processed.
  • All goods must be returned in their original condition. Any labels or other types of marking must be removed.
  • If seal is intact the credit deduction from invoice amount is 20%.
  • If seal is broken the credit deduction from invoice amount is 30%
  • All RMA should be sent on the senders shipping account, if not the shipping costs will be charged to customer.
  • All accessories must always be enclosed.
  • All freight charges are to be paid by customer.
  • Transportation / freight damages – only CIF
  • Receive the goods with reservations or reject the shipment
  • Send within 24 hours claim to order@tier1asset.com with description, copy of freight documents, photos and delivery note.
  • All freight charges within EU are to be paid by Tier1Asset.
